Easy and safe handling of large OTR/EM tyres

Easier and safer handling of tyres is the goal of the Easy Gripper Compact, which won the Agromek award.
The tyre handler can handle tyres up to 2160 mm. Who does not know the hassle when twin wheels need to be removed? They are large, difficult to handle and therefore dangerous. That is why one of the Agromek awards went to Just Easy Tools Aps, which has developed the Easy Gripper Compact.
The tyre manipulator is designed to be mounted on a front loader, a skid steer loader or a forklift and help dismantle, move and dispose of used tyres. The Easy Gripper consists of a three catch arms, which are placed around the tyre.
The lifting capacity is 1,000 kg and the weight of the tool is 400 kg. The tyre handler can handle tyres with a diameter up to 2,160 mm.
Camera helps tyres on the road
In front of the Gripper is a camera that helps the driver position the tyre correctly for mounting or when laying on the floor. And with a sharp price, it will quickly gain a foothold in agriculture, where it also contributes to much greater safety at work, said Lars Jørgensen, director of Just Easy Tools Aps.
